Temporary Exhibit - "In the Hands of the Enemy - Captivity, Parole & Exchange of Prisoners in the Civil War"June 26, 2014 - June 1, 2015

This rare topic highlights the brutal conditions of prisoner of war camps, both Confederate and Union. This exhibit will display rare artifacts from the Museum's collection and panels will address and explain the conditions of the camps and daily prisoner life.

"1865" Exhibit January 15, 2015 - December 31, 2015

This is the last changing exhibit of a series of commemorative exhibits for the 150th Anniversary of the American Civil War.

The exhibit contains some of our rarest artifacts from 1865 that are not regularly on display. The exhibit will cover the battles, strategies and civilian lives throughout the fifth year of the American Civil War.
