MUSEUM APPOINTS 3 NEW BOARD MEMBERS
Harrisburg, PA (March 24, 2008) -
The National Civil War Museum has appointed 3 new board members to its
board of directors. Thomas
Dilworth,
Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager with M&T Bank,
James Ludlow, President and CEO of Imirage, Inc. and Robert J. Philbin,
senior partner with Hershey Philbin Associates, Inc. officially began
their tenure in February 2008.
“We are excited to have Tom, Jim
and Bob join the team, each of whom brings his own fresh perspective and
experience to our growing board of directors.
I am confident their knowledge and expertise will prove
beneficial to the Museum’s future,” stated James Nulton, chairman of the
board.
Tom Dilworth has an extensive
background in finance, with over 25 years of experience in delivering
corporate solutions in senior debt financing, capital markets products,
cash management and investment management. Since joining M&T in 2003,
Tom has been successful in expanding the Bank’s commercial presence in
the market and is responsible for developing and administering a
portfolio of commercial relationships.

and Fortune, Jim Ludlow has
published 22 professional articles, taught 14 accounting and finance
courses at the University of Delaware and Penn State University and has
spoken at many conferences and panels. As co-founder and CEO of Imirage,
Inc. Jim helped lead and manage its profitable growth
and has also worked in
leadership and nonprofit board positions with several organizations,
including the Chemical Industry Data Exchange.
A graduate of Dickinson College with more than 25 years of executive
experience, Bob Philbin has received numerous awards for advertising and
marketing excellence. He has published widely on a variety of subjects,
and is known as a strategic planner and multi-task force leader, able to
pull together diverse projects, disciplines and talents and integrate
them into cohesive, goal oriented strategic action.
Artifacts and narratives
sustained by the Museum underscore a heritage that belongs to every
American citizen, while providing documentation of America’s most
important period of social development from Civil War to civil rights.
The Museum is also dedicated to the
collection and preservation of these artifacts for future generations.
With regularly received donations of
historical and educational significance, the already impressive
collection of over 20,000 archival items and 4,000 artifacts continues
to grow each year.
The
National Civil War Museum is an educational 501(c)(3) institution
dedicated to preserving Civil War history, located in Reservoir
Park in Harrisburg, PA. The Museum's seasonal hours of operation are:
Wednesday
through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00
p.m. The Museum is open 7 days a week April 1 through Labor Day. Admission
to the Museum is $8.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors, and $6.00 for
