Joining together for the twelfth consecutive year, The National Civil War Museum and the United States Marine Corps (USMC) are teaming up to bring Christmas to Harrisburg’s children in need. Through the joint efforts of The National Civil War Museum and the USMC, support has been given to numerous social organizations and more than 35,000 children received in excess of 75,000 toys.
The 2012 campaign will kick off on Thursday, November 1 at 9:30 a.m. in the Museum’s Grand Rotunda. Representatives from the USMC will be at the Museum and the kick off will begin with remarks from the Museum CEO, Wayne Motts.
Guests are invited to join us in our Grand Rotunda to ensure that needy children have a happy holiday. Visitors who bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more will receive one free admission to the Museum the day of donation or 2 coupons valid for 50% off a future visit (limit 2 free admissions or 4 coupons per family).
The National Civil War Museum will be accepting toy donations from November 1 through December 14, 2012. Celebrate the holidays with the United States Marine Corps and The National Civil War Museum!
