The National Civil War Museum Participates in John Brown's Raid Sesquicentennial Bus Tour
Included in the tour will be a stop at the Jefferson County Museum, which contains artifacts from various periods of history. Most importantly, the museum houses the wagon on which John Brown sat on his own coffin and road to the gallows, as well as one of the pikes he intended using to arm the slaves. We will gain special entrance to the court room where the trial was held and also visit the site of the execution. Dinner at Brewers Alley is included as well as a candlelight ghost tour of Frederick, MD.

Price of the tour is: $112.00 per member; $118.00 per non-member
Bus departs at 7:30am from Harrisburg. You can pack a picnic lunch or eat at a restaurant (on your own) in Harpers Ferry. A deposit of $25.00 per person will hold your seat. Balance is due no later than September 18th. If paying by credit card, your card will be charged in full upon receipt. Cancellations received 45 or more days before the tour will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 44 days or less before the tour will only receive a refund if either you or the organization fill the open seat(s).
