Rebels March on Washington! Governor Curtain calls for Able-Bodied Volunteers!

The 142nd Pennsylvania Volunteers will be recruiting for the war effort.

Saturday: 10am-4pm

Sunday: 12pm-4pm

  • Enlist in the Union Army
  • Try on a uniform and learn what gear an infantry soldier carried
  • Get a hands on feel for what the recruits experienced
  • Firing demonstrations and a living history program based on the recruiting efforts of the Civil War
