The treasured possessions that remain resonate with stories of courage, the heartbreak of those left behind, and the pride for those who fought valiantly for their country. Drawing on the extensive collection of The National Civil War Museum, the exhibit will emphasize the deeper meaning that lies within artifacts, telling the story of the part they played in the lives of soldiers and civilians from the North and South.
