“New Acquisitions and Seldom Seen Treasures of the Museum” with Curator Brett Kelley
The National Civil war Museum will offer its first program in our 2019 Lessons in History Speaker Series of 12 free lectures to the public with NCWM Curator, Brett Kelley. He will lecture on the significance of the “New Acquisitions and Seldom Seen Treasures of the Museum” and how they will complement existing Museum artifacts, both on display and preserved in artifact storage. This presentation will include a display of the NCWM’s newest donations and additions to the Museum collection in our Education Gallery, first floor.
About the Presenter: Brett Kelley has a BA Degree in American Studies, Pennsylvania State University and has been with the Museum full-time since June 2000. Brett was honorably discharged from the USMC with the rank of Sergeant in 1999.
The 2019 Lessons in History program is free to the public. Regular museum admission applies for entrance to the museum galleries.
