Grand Review Parade Video:

Recently came across a video I took of the Grand Review Parade of the USCT troops in Harrisburg in 2010

and thought I'd share it...it was great to be a part of and witness this! As many of you know, USCT troops

were not able to participate in the victory parade in Washington, D.C. in 1865.

Member Dorothy Hardin has published a children's book!

Created for children ages 3-7, Zander’s Friendship Journey is an engaging, gentle story for

children and family members. Through his adventures at Spring Creek Elementary School, Zander discovers how

to make friends, to share, to take turns, and to have a conversation.  It is an especially positive book for children

who are entering preschool, kindergarten, or first grade. Zander's Friendship Journey will be released in May.

Also, a recent article about reconstructing a Civil War prison camp building  in Elmira for the 150th.
