Tour dates for MEMBER EXCLUSIVE - See, Touch & Feel Museum Experience.

  • Saturday, November 16, 2019 - 10:30 a.m.

This is a free member only behind the scenes museum tour, led by our Curator, Brett Kelley. You and a small group of members will explore the archives seeing, reading and holding photos and documents associated with the Civil War. After some exploration there you will be taken to Artifact Storage where you will see and learn about a few of the thousands of artifacts in the Museum's collection, but not on public display. Supporting members, Major and above, are welcome to bring one guest along with you on this tour. Reservations are required and space is limited.


See, Touch & Feel Gettysburg, Part II - Our Third Tour Through Time - October 12, 2019

Back by popular demand, join CEO Wayne E. Motts and the staff of The National Civil War Museum on a tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield. This tour will consist of stops on the Gettysburg Battlefield and will feature new artifacts of those who fought in the struggle, some that haven’t been on the Gettysburg Battlefield since 1863. Tour participants will be able to hold historical treasures used and/or associated with men of the Union and Confederate Army engaged at Gettysburg.

Be part of this tour with Specially Curated Artifacts of the Gettysburg Battlefield while supporting the National Civil War Museum.

 NCWM  Member price: $150.00                                   Non-Member price: $175.00

 Exclusive early member registration opens June 15, 2019 

Some of the Artifacts include: Sword carried and buried at Gettysburg by Theodore Howell (153rd PA Inf.), Items belonging to Weidner H. Spera (17th PA Cav.), Fez belonging to Edward Fisher (114th PA Inf. - Collis Zouaves)

The artifacts will be subject to a level of care commensurate to their condition. All artifacts will be subject to change based on the weather condition and in cases when appropriate the artifacts will be in Riker mounted boxes protected from the elements.

Tour will leave from Gettysburg Tour Center,  Gettysburg Tour Center - 778 Baltimore Ave., Gettysburg and includes:

  • Six Hours of Touring
  • Bus Transportation around the field
  • The seeing and handling of priceless Gettysburg Artifacts, Photographs, and Letters
  • Lunch
