As we mark The National Civil War museum's 20th anniversary, we remember that at our inception we were designed to serve as a center for the unbiased presentation of the American Civil War. Since its opening in February 2001, the Museum has hosted upwards of 950,000 visitors, while preserving 35,000 artifacts, photos, and documents and telling the stories of the soldiers, civilians, men, women, and children whose lives were impacted forever by the American Civil War.
For a limited time, you can memorialize your commitment to our mission by placing a 20th Anniversary brick in our Friends Walkway. The cost is $200.00 per brick and is 100% tax deductible. NCWM members receive a $20.00 discount.
