BAG POLICY

Our Bag Policy

To help protect the artifacts in our collection and ensure an enjoyable experience for all visitors, backpacks, outside food, and beverages are not permitted in the museum galleries. Large bags, oversized purses, and other bulky personal items may also be subject to restriction at the discretion of museum staff.

We strongly encourage guests to leave backpacks and other large personal belongings in their vehicles prior to entering the museum. Please note that the museum does not have a dedicated storage or coat check area for personal items and cannot assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or unattended belongings.

For the safety of our collections and visitors, all bags and personal items brought into the museum may be subject to visual inspection upon entry. Guests carrying medically necessary items, diaper bags, or accessibility-related belongings are welcome; however, these items may also require inspection.

Food and beverages are not permitted in exhibit spaces to help preserve artifacts and maintain a clean environment for all guests. Water bottles, coffee cups, and other drinks should be finished or secured before entering the galleries.

Museum staff reserve the right to deny entry to items that may pose a risk to the collection, interfere with visitor flow, or impact the experience of others.

We appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and help in preserving the museum’s collections for future generations.
