Visitor Experience Representative
The National Civil War Museum has immediate openings for part-time employment.
Visitor Experience Representatives are the front-line staff who interact with our visitors daily. The successful applicants will have the opportunity to learn several different jobs in the museum field. Shift positions will vary according to the needs of the Museum and encompass all aspects of the visitor’s experience, including admission sales, gift shop sales, safety and security, and assisting with public and educational programs. Some routine museum housekeeping and contractor oversight will be required from time to time, as well as facilitating occasional evening events. Our hours are flexible but will include weekends and some holidays. This is a long-term positions, ideal for college students who are looking for an engaging experience in the museum field.
